Justin M. Deonarine
Organizational Psychologist

My goal is to reintroduce the “human” component of “human capital”, and to help make companies better places to work.

I preach (and practice) data-driven decision-making. In my work, I regularly apply this knowledge to help companies improve their recruitment processes, leadership performance and corporate culture. I’ve used these skills to help organizations varying in size (local to multi-national) and sector (for-profit, non-profit and government).

I also enjoy writing about my experiences and sharing my knowledge. I have published articles about leadership, corporate culture, innovation and entrepreneurship for sources such as Inc.com, Canadian HR Director and CPHR Alberta.

In my spare time, I serve on the Board of Directors for The Brown Homestead (a heritage foundation), and actively mentor undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Alberta.
